The village of Holme sits at the head of the Holme Valley in West Yorkshire, close to Holmfirth and just within the boundary of the Peak District National Park. We’re surrounded by breath-taking scenery, home to an active community of residents and extend a warm Yorkshire welcome to visitors from near and far.
Jubilee picnic – Sun 5th June 2022
There will be a picnic to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Bill and Jean Mackie have kindly offered their garden as the venue. More details to follow.

Woman abducted as a child is reunited with the Holme village man who saved her
A woman abducted 40 years ago and abandoned in Holme village, has been reunited with the person who found her (John Sandford). Wendy Gould left a message on this website, which by the magic of the Home village grapevine, then found it’s way to John. Read more.
