There will be a Lantern Show of old photographs of Holme Village and the surrounding area on Saturday 23rd November 2019 at 7pm to 9:30pm in the Sunday School. More details here.
Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on, 13 Dec 2019
This will take place on 13th December at 6pm. Deputy Mayor Cllr. Nigel Patrick to switch the lights on, and Catherine Heppenstall will chaperone him. Hade Edge Band will play and the members of Songbirds will sing later in the evening. The Holme Valley Singers will be singing in the Fleece on 20th December.

Woman abducted as a child is reunited with the Holme village man who saved her
A woman abducted 40 years ago and abandoned in Holme village, has been reunited with the person who found her (John Sandford). Wendy Gould left a message on this website, which by the magic of the Home village grapevine, then found it’s way to John. Read more.
