The village of Holme sits at the head of the Holme Valley in West Yorkshire, close to Holmfirth and just within the boundary of the Peak District National Park. Lantern show – 4th and 5th Feb 2022

There will be a Lantern Show of old photographs of Holme Village and the surrounding area on Fri 4th and 5th February 2022 at 7.00pm in the Sunday School. More details here.


The village now has a defibrillator, located outside the toilets, opposite the Fleece Inn.

Woman abducted as a child is reunited with the Holme village man who saved her

A woman abducted 40 years ago and abandoned in Holme village, has been reunited with the person who found her (John Sandford). Wendy Gould left a message on this website, which by the magic of the Home village grapevine, then found it’s way to John. Read more.
